let's directly to the point. this morning my Explorer 8 stopped work suddenly and i've running windows 8 for several months without such weirder thing. at the same time i also can not update my windows 8 fixes.

I am not a computer guru, so can not work out how to sort this out.

does anyone know what could be causing this? any help would be higly appreciated.

once encountered the same problem with my Firefox which is running on Windows 8 pr 64 bit. The program itself starts correctly, at usual speed, with no crashes or error messages to pop-up. --> No page is displayed, neither the home page, nor any other one. I only see a blank white page.

can you come with more detailed error informations?
