As everyone knows that IE8 can antomatically save some websites of common use. A few days ago, one of my friends borrowed my computer and when I got back it I found that those websites I saved before have gone and I can not use this automatical save function. I'm not clear about the reasons. In addtion, my friend upgraded the operating system to Windows 8.

Can you show me the way to solve the problem?

Perhaps, you can update your IE browser to IE 9, and study its new functions. The Favorite function is on the top right corner.

Two steps to enter the Favorite function:

1. Open the Pentangle on the top right corner; Then it will got the Favorite;
2. Press Alt to enter menu of it and click Favorite.
