View Full Version : IE 64-bit unable to run in.honda website...

Since moving to 8.1, in.Honda.com is unable to run with 64-bit IE. Can I run a 32-bit IE, and if so, how?

Thanks... Mark

It doesn't work for me either...I'm running IE 11. I did find this.....

FAQ -How to configure the security settings in Internet Explorer 11? (http://www.in.honda.com/RRAADCTM/Content/AAC/AC84/ml.reaac84a.honda_faq_0592.htm)

Bass solution works.

It's funny how some big company locks in their business and rely on inferior web browser like IE.

"Inferior" is a very nice way to say "Total Piece of CRAP!".

Since day one, MS has been trying to patch the security holes in their browser and recently they found another hole that's been there for a decade or so. They've even told people to Stop Using IE till they get the hole patched.

Heck, I gave up on I.E. Years ago and went to Netscape along with millions of other knowledgeable users.
Been on Firefox since its first Beta version and on the real thing since Day one, when over a million people downloaded it.

How long do you have to bang your head against the wall, before you realize that's what's causing your headaches.

Y'all have a great day now, Y'hear?

I only use IE as a last resort...primary browser is FF then Chrome and as I said...IE last. What really sucks as you pointed out TM, is that some sites require you to use a specific browser and in this case IE. I've never really understood that practice.

Oh crap!... my last post is still up for moderation (including this one)..

Hmmmm! I see some kind soul UN-Moderated them for you.

A moderator gets moderated...... that's neat! I guess I'm glad I ain't one. Eh?

Yes, I never did understand, why some web sites require I.E. to access them. Usually not right at the front door, but to get very far inside anyway.

One thing I've noticed lately though, is that more and more sites are NOW usable from Firefox.
Maybe FF is just becoming more compatible. I dunno, but I like it.

I just changed the oil in my little Kia Soul and now I have to go put the tools away, and bottle up
the used oil. I hate that part of the job, but someone (me) has to do it.

Y'all have a great Memorial Day now, Y'hear?

TM

PS: Since Google announced that they would start saving peoples browsing info, for Ad purposes. I got rid of Google as my search engine.
After some searching (pun intended) I found "ixQuick.com" the SAFE-Search engine and that is now my home page in Firefox. I even made it my home page for I.E.
